Why, why do you trust divorce court filings??

Again we see this sillyness. What reason is there to trust the filings in a divorce court record. Would the court impose a penalty for perjury? On the person who makes the false representation? On the lawyer who filed it, even knowing it was false? Of course not. The attempt to destroy anyone who dares to seek a place in the public eye has resulted in our current Congress (to say nothing of the current Illinois legislative turmoil).  We read, " If Bill Foster abused his wife, we have a right to know." but how will we weigh the evidence? Will we demand sources whose credibility is worthy of our trust. Surely not the records from a divorce. Hang your head in shame. Not just Jack Ryan, but also one of the Democratic candidates in the same race will never provide public service. Aren't we lucky to have the Chicago Tribune to protect us!! Indeed, someone needs to get the facts out. Just the facts!!
